Children of God or creature of God?
Many are those who think that everybody is a child of God, some think the opposite, others don’t care at all. First of all, there must exist a God, who is the Creator, so that men, women and all living beings be His. In fact, human beings truly exist as well as the universe we belong to.
No one so far has ever said "I am the Creator of the universe and everything within", except God of Heaven, known as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, God of Israel. People may choose not to believe in it , but no one can prove the opposite and present another creator; the universe cannot exist by itself, we are not born on earth by ourselves. It takes a creator to bring forth the creation.
But, where did you come from before coming on earth, who gives you your breath of life, who decided that you should be a man or a woman and brought you unto existence?
The God of Heaven, the Creator, who expresses Himself through the Holy Bible, the Word of God, declares
“ … Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me” (Isa. 43:10).
“Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these things… … ?“ (Isa. 40:26).
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable” (Isa.40:28).
“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the waters” (Ps.24:1-2).
Through His creation, among all the living beings, God distinguished man (man and woman), by making him according to His Own likeness, when He formed him of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.(Gen.2:7). God was satisfied of His mighty work (Gen.1:31).
Unfortunately, sin, by coming to the picture, brought chaos all over;
the intimate relationship between God and man had been completely destroyed. But God, in His great love, sent His Son Jesus Christ on earth to die on a cross, shed His blood as the price of Redemption so that the relationship might be re-established. (Jn.3:16; Rom.5:8). Man and woman, we are creatures of God, sinners by nature, separated from God because of our sins.
But we are restored when by faith we accept the sacrificial redemptive work of Christ the Son of God, on the Cross; then, Jesus Christ becomes our Lord and Savior, and we obtain God’s forgiveness for our sins and eternal life. Not only is our peace with God re-established, Jesus Christ gives us the right to become children of God. Finally, we are born creatures of God, but in Jesus we become children of God (Jn.1:12).
Now, do you want to know this peace that the world cannot give, and experience this unique heavenly Father and child relationship that any human being can’t provide?
Repeat with me:
Dear Lord God, I need to know the peace that only You can give. I believe in Your Son Jesus Christ, in His sacrifice on the cross. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I believe in my heart that He died and shed His blood for me. Lord Jesus, I give you my life, my all. Forgive me my sins, save my soul; write my name in the Book of life, I surrender all to you. Thank you Lord. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen. !!!
You are now reconciled with God, you become His child forever; dwell in His love, by reading the Holy Bible daily, maintaining a life of prayer. Ask Him to lead you to a living church where the Word of God is honored and shared with love through the Power of the Holy Spirit; for you have to grow in your Christian life and in your relationship with God.(2 Pet.3:18). May the Lord bless you!
