Who am I?

Who am I, where did I come from, where am I going??

Such questions are frequently asked by people of all ages, and almost all cultures; you cannot escape them. But unfortunately, no one can bring about any answer that will satisfy except He who declares to be the Creator of the universe and reveals Himself, His Thoughts and His Will through the Bible, the Word of the living God.
The Bible declares that at the beginning, God created heaven and the earth and all that is therein (Gen.1:1); all the waters, all the trees, the sun, the moon and the stars, all the living creatures in the air, on the earth and in the waters.
And God created man.
"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them".(Gen.1:27). Then our first parents were brought into existence. Therefore, we are God's creatures. Everything was beautiful and perfect. "Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good... ." (Gen.1:31).
A close relationship existed between God and men that He had created.

Unfortunately, sin came into the picture by the disobedience of our first parents and not only destroyed God's beautiful handiwork, but separated us human beings from God, and brought a curse upon all creation.
So subsequently, we all are born sinners.
"Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned ". (Rom.5:12). Desolation, bitterness, disappointment, evil of all sorts became, and still is, daily life.
The Creation since longs after deliverance. "The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God." (Rom.8:20-21).
In fact, not only must we all consequently know physical death, but we were also condemned to face eternal death, which is suffering forever in the lake of fire.
But God, in His great love, brought us a plan of rescue through His Son Jesus Christ who came to die on a cross to pay the price of our redemption and, by His shed blood, washed all our sins.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (John 3:16-17).
So, we do not have anything to do, but receive God's free salvation by grace, through faith. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Eph.2:8-9).

Those who accept the Salvation's work of Christ on the cross, believing in His death and His resurrection, are reconciled with God and spiritually born again.
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation."(Rom. 5:8-11).
Now being reconciled with God by Christ Jesus our Savior, we are justified by Him and receive His Own nature. "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,..."(Rom. 5:1).
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."(2 Cor. 5:17).

According to all we discussed so far, we were sinners by nature from our first parents Adam and Eve by whom sin was introduced in the world, and as a result, we were separated from God.
In Jesus through faith, salvation is offered to humanity, not to have eternal death, but Eternal Life. Now those who receive Christ will be saved, and become children of God.
" But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:..."(John 1:12).

Maybe your life is upside down, you are desperate, you find yourself very far from God. Maybe you are looking for a sense to your life, but nothing seems to match. You ask why were you born; your life is a mess.

Why don't you try Jesus?

God had a plan for your life before you were in the womb of your mother.
It is not too late for God to bring you back to your destiny. God loves you.

I invite you now to give your life to Jesus. It is the only key to enter Eternal Life.
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6).
Give your life to Jesus, you will never regret it. You will have hope, and experience peace, joy, and love beyond description. !!!

Now repeat after me:
" Dear Lord , I am a sinner, I know that Jesus Christ came to earth, died on the cross, and rose from the dead, so that we might be saved. I regret all that I did and all that I was in the past. Now I accept you, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and my Lord. Forgive my sins, wash me by your blood; I surrender my life to you. I give you my heart, my mind, my soul, my all. Write my name in the book of life. I no longer belong to satan, I belong to you Jesus, forever;
I am born again. I am saved." Amen.
